The American Egg Board was created by the Egg Research and Consumer Information Act of 1974 to support America’s egg farmers and increase demand for eggs and egg products; along with many other egg farmers, we pay an assessment to support the AEB [and have a representative on its board of directors]. The Egg Safety Center, supported by the American Egg Board, provides egg safety information and answers to common consumer questions. We are a member of the Eggland’s Best, Inc. cooperative and produce, market, distribute and sell Egg-Land’s Best and Land O’Lakes branded eggs under exclusive license agreements in various territories in the U.S. Although we support these organizations, we do not control or regularly review the content of their websites.
